BlueStar 6 is confirmed...

BlueStar have released their timetables for the February changes - and confirmed the new timetable for route 56/56A from Southampton - Lymington - now the BlueStar 6...

The above timetable has been taken from the online version. It shows that the 56/56A will be changed from their slightly uneven twice-hourly layout at present to form a half hourly frequency. What will operate the route is slightly less clear. Ant Poulton reported that W&D Spectra 3162 (W162RFX) has received BlueStar livery, along with two Optare Solos that have been allocated to Totton depot. It appears that BlueStar's Totton depot and Wilts & Dorset's Lymington depot will operate the route, although this hasn't been confirmed yet in public. Changes from the 27th February - I hope to get to Lyndhurst or Lymington before the changes and after the changes to grab some photos.

Finally, the timetables out in February have also confirmed route 18 (Millbrook - City - Lordshill) will increase to every 7-8 minutes from the same date. It will become the most frequent service in Southampton, and utilise the recently acquired DAF/Wright Cadets from Go North East. I hope to also bring some photos of these changes to the blog soon.
